The carpenter ants have gone to sleep. It is time to concentrate on other active pests to control at this time. These include spiders, rats, znd residual weed control.
Spiders are mating at this time of year. They maybe very active. We should remember that spiders are beneficial beings. They eat other iinsects. If they are surviving inside of your house there must be other bugs there for them to eat. Perhaps we should concentrate on controlling those other insects. While spiders maybe beneficial it does not mean that we should allow them inside of our houses. We can treat in the corners where they rest.
